This is my pink angel with the photoshop watercolor filter added to it.

Pink Angel with Sponge Painted Background

This was a fun angel to paint. First I painted the background pink with a gesso tinted with pink acrylic. Then I sponge painted over that with a lighter pink paint. Then I painted the angel with a darker magenta paint and sponged over it again lightly with the magenta paint.

Angels Watching Over You Background with Handmade Paper Cross

This is the background paper from yesterday with a handmade paper cross. I made the cross from iris and abaca fiber and affixed it to the background with matte medium.

Angels Watching Over You Background

This is another background where I used matte medium to affix tissue paper to watercolor paper then wrote over the resulting texture with Sharpie marker. Then I used an acrylic wash to add color over the writing.
