Well, here are my 365 angels. I drew angels for a year and posted them here. I will post more as I draw them, just probably not quite as frequently.

Angels Background with Handmade Iris Paper Angels
This is the background I made yesterday, but I used handmade iris paper to make some angels to add to the background. I used matte medium to affix the angels onto the background.

Angels Background
For this one, I used matte medium to affix tissue paper to a heavy water color paper. I then wrote on the resulting background with a thin Sharpie marker and then used an acrylic wash over the whole thing.

Handmade Paper/Mixed Media Angel
This angel is made out of handmade paper. First I made the background paper from iris and abaca fibers and dyed it blue. Then, I used cotton linter fiber for the rest of the angel and the cloud. Then I painted her face and halo and added her hair.

Candy Decoration Angels
These angels were made for our Advent night at Shepherd of the Valley. We made them out of two peanut butter cups glued together. Then we used gold wire ribbon to make the wings and gold pompoms for their heads. I think they turned out too pretty to eat, so I am putting mine in my tree.

Angel Ornament
This is an angel ornament that was made by my grandmother for me when I was a little girl. My grandmother taught me a lot about art and I remember making many different projects with her growing up!

Angel Watching Over You
This sketch just reminds me of angels flying up above watching over us. I love the thought of angels making sure I am okay!

Genesis 28:12-14
I love this verse where it talks about the angels and the stairway resting on earth with its top reaching to Heaven. These stairs are full of autumn leaves and I can just picture the angels enjoying the majesty of all the fall colors. I also love where it says ALL peoples on earth will be blessed. I had fun with Photoshop today and messing around with this image and angel verse.
